Important fix for Optimize Themes

Theme artists using the Optimize Themes feature under "Advanced (for Themers)" in versions of WinterBoard since 0.9.3906 (up through 0.9.3909) may have noticed it taking a very long time or even never finishing at all.

Apparently, due to an interaction with the User Wallpaper fix, the algorithm it used to find image files to optimize would scan the entire filesystem. :(

The result is that every single PNG on your entire iPhone/iPad would be run through "pincrush", including those in third-party App Store applications.

As this is obviously wrong (and even may cause other problems for these applications), you should not use the Optimize Themes feature as included with WinterBoard versions 0.9.3906 through 0.9.3909 (0.9.3910 is fixed).

To be explicit: this only affects you if you, yourself, use (click) the Optimize Themes feature; it is not something WinterBoard automatically does, nor is it something that affects you just by installing pre-optimized themes.
