<p>AutoProtect detects if you are at home or not by checking for the Name of the WiFi Network the Device is connected to, if you are at home AutoProtect will disable your Devices Passcode, if you are not in your Home's WiFi Network the Passcode will be requested on every unlock.</p>

<p>If your device requires your passcode after a reboot/respring, it is totally normal. To avoid a lot of bugs with some applications (mails, youtube, tweetbot, sparrow ...), your device needs to generate some encryption keys.
